15 Men Arrested in Kim Kardashian Robbery, French Judge May Fly to New York to Interview Reality Star

A French judge may fly to New York to interview Kim Kardashian about her Paris robbery, The Mirror reports. This news comes after the arrest of 15 men who allegedly were connected to the crime.

On October 2, Kardashian was reportedly bound and gagged before assailants stole almost $11 million worth of jewelry. She was staying in the No Address Hotel in Paris when men dressed up as police officers barged into her room with guns. The robbers were apparently looking for items that Kardashian had shown off on Snapchat earlier that day.

The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians immediately left Paris after the robbery, and a French judge assigned to the case may travel to the United States soon in order to investigate. Local police have already apprehended 15 career criminals after one stupidly left DNA at the scene of the crime. The men were reportedly under surveillance for weeks before the arrest.

After the robbery, the famously open Kardashian enacted a media blackout. She stopped posting on social media and production of her hit E! Network show halted. However, she has recently emerged again online to the delight of her millions of fans.

Kardashian had battled conspiracy theorists who claimed she had been faking the story for insurance money. The reality star is often flanked by cameras, her family, or her bodyguard; but sources said that her bodyguard Pascal Duvier had been deposed that evening to protect other members of her family. Kardashian had tucked herself in for the night, assuming she was safe in her room. Last year, she and her team of lawyers threatened to sue The Huffington Post and Media Takeout for claiming she had lied; and the stories were immediately retracted.

Kardashian’s family has been vocal about their support of Kim. Sister Khloe Kardashian appeared on Ellen and spoke about the incident.



“It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her. But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her,” Khloe Kardashian said. “I think it’s just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments.”
