Bill Maher has been sued by real estate mogul Donald Trump and you are really going to enjoy this one. Maher has been sued for $5 million by Trump after Maher refused to uphold his part of a weighty bargain, according to Trump.
It has been reported that both men put in writing that if Trump could prove that he is not the son of an orangutan, then Maher would write a check to the charity of Trump’s choosing. Trump has presented his authentic birth certificate to prove that he is not the son of an orangutan, but instead of Fred Trump.
“Today I sue Bill Maher,” Trump said Monday on Fox News.
All of this began after Trump dared President Barack Obama to release his college paperwork and his birth certificate to prove that he was born in the United States. Trump has never been sold on the idea that Obama is a citizen and that he legally has the right to be president.
Maher, who is a major supporter of Obama, ripped into Trump for his remarks and then presented the wager with Trump as a joke. He told Jay Leno that Trump must be “the spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan.” Maher offered to match the $5 million offer Trump made to Obama if he could prove he is not the son of an orangutan.

Claiming breach of contract, the lawsuit was filed in L.A. County Superior Court.
“He said it with venom. I don’t think it was a joke,” Trump said.
Maher wrote the following on Twitter Monday:
“What?? Really? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha”
