Alec Baldwin received a slap on the wrist from a judge for his wrong-way bicycle riding in New York City, according to the New York Daily News.

Baldwin was issued a conditional pardon on Thursday from Manhattan Judge John DeLury by challenging him to behave for at least six months.

“Can you stay out of trouble, Alexander?”

“Sure, sure,” replied Baldwin. Baldwin was busted May 13 for riding a bicycle the wrong way on Fifth Avenue.

“How old are these officers?” Baldwin said. “They don’t even know who I am.”

“You were in ‘The Search for Red October?’ ” DeLury asked.

“No, ‘Hunt for Red October,’ ” Baldwin said.

“That’s a good movie,” DeLury said. “Looks like you have a short fuse.”

“I’m asking for an apology,” DeLury said.

“I’d rather pay a fine,” Baldwin said.

Neither option occurred and the Judge gave Baldwin genial justice and sent him from the court. Baldwin then jaywalked to a car and left the area.

“Be a good boy from now on,” DeLury said. “Have a good day.”

The charge filed against Baldwin will be dropped if he can avoid any trouble until January 24.

Prior to appearing in court, baldwin used Twitter to attack New York City, writing the following:

“NY City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.” This was the same tweet from the day of his arrest.
