John Elwood will be joining the appellate practice of Vinson & Elkins in Washington DC starting on Monday. Elwood was a clerk for Justice Kennedy in the 90’s and went on to work for the Solicitor General’s office. While with the SG, he argued five cases before the Supreme Court. He’s also known for his work in the blawgosphere, writing for the Volokh Conspiracy in recent years.
