The judge looked at the witness with concern and asked, “Are you okay? You seem to be in distress.”
The witness replied with a sigh, “Your Honor, I’m just trying to stick to my oath of telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. But it seems like every time I open my mouth, some lawyer pops up like a whack-a-mole and objects!”
