The ‘Final Answer’

The Jeopardy! Teen Tournament is one of the traditional tournaments held each season on the popular TV quiz show Jeopardy! Jeopardy contestants are often super-intelligent. Contestants in this tournament are primarily high school students, and between the ages of thirteen and seventeen. The show is hosted by Alex Trebek.

Little Rock, Arkansas Teen Leonard Cooper, a senior at Little Rock’s eStem Public High Charter School, risked a whopping $18,000 on a Daily Double question, winning Teen Jeopardy. The Daily Double question, about the 1957 movie 12 Angry Men, earned Cooper a staggering $75,000 grand prize. Leonard Cooper started final jeopardy with $37,000 and he had $3,000 from the previous evening.

On the popular blog site cheezburger.com they have a video posting showing a clip from the show. The key to Leonard Cooper winning Teen Jeopardy, in addition to knowing a lot of the right answers, was being honest about what answers he didn’t know. Wagering $0, in the final “Military Men” category his answer to who issued the quote detailed was “Some guy in Normandy. But I just won $75,000.”

The Humorous teen Jeopardy champion, Leonard Cooper had a big win which has gone viral. And now he has become one of the most celebrated contestants on Jeopardy! It certainly was a very entertaining Final Jeopardy moment.
