Law firms across the nation are starting a New Year’s tradition — sponsoring cab rides for intoxicated revelers.
Woods & Woods in Evansville, Indiana; Birmingham, Alabama’s Johnson Law Firm; and Utica, New York’s Martin, Harding & Mazzotti are all providing free rides in conjunction with local cab companies, to anyone on New Year’s Eve who shouldn’t be driving.
The firms that offer these services are usually ones that represent DUI defendants. It’s pretty cool that these lawyers are happy to diminish their own customer base in the name of public safety.
