DOJ Report Slams Puerto Rico Police For Rights Violations

The Department of Justice, after a 3-year investigation of the Puerto Rico Police Department, has finally released its findings.  The DOJ report claims that the Puerto Rico police repeatedly engaged in unlawful and also unconstitutional behavior. The police force used excessive force, failure to recognize and protect the First Amendment rights of citizens as well as carried out unconstitutional searches and arrests.
