According to a press release from the firm, only 5 percent of lawyers in New York are included on the list. Super Lawyers uses a multi-phase rating process that includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. The goal of the list is a credible and comprehensive listing of lawyers to be used as a resource for those in search of legal counsel.
