England served the previous three years as secretary, treasurer, and vice-chair of the Section. She was elected by its fifteen-member Executive Committee.
The State Bar of California Litigation Section has approximately 10,000 members, and is comprised of numerous Standing Committees such as Alternative Dispute Resolution, California Legislation Review, Education, Jury Instructions, and Rules and Legislation.
The Section Chair is responsible for planning the Section’s budget and conducting Executive Committee meetings.
Don Ridge, managing partner of Morris Polich, commented on the move in a press release.
