The New York firm of Chadbourne and Parke is heading west and establishing a presence in Silicon Valley.  Duane Valz, previously the in-house IP lawyer for yahoo, will be joining C&P next month.

Although not traditionally a large part of Chadbourne’s business, the firm has recently taken on other IP lawyers, like former Goldman and Sachs in house chief IP counsel John Squires.
