Shipman & Goodwin will cut 26 jobs, including five lawyers, across its four offices in Connecticut.
The Hartford headquarters is the most affected, losing four lawyers, one of them a partner, and 16 paralegal and administrative jobs.
Also this week, Hartford’s Robinson & Cole cut 11 lawyers and 19 staff.
Founded in 1919, Shipman & Goodwin has 335 employees, including 135 lawyers. In Hartford, the firm has 100 lawyers and about 150 support staff. Its other offices are in Stamford, Greenwich and Lakeville.
