LeClairRyan has opened two other offices this year, one in Atlanta and another in Sacramento. Chief executive officer David C. Freinberg said the firm has wanted to open in Delaware for some time and almost did two years ago.

They are now looking to fill the office with new attorneys and support staff. The office will lead by attorney Andrew Cole, who specializes in bankruptcy and corporate litigation. Cole previously worked for Franklin & Prokopik.

The location of the office is between the building that houses the District of Delaware courtrooms and the New Castle County Courthouse. Those that will be working in the office will primarily work in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware and the Delaware Court of Chancery.

LeClairRyan has offices in Virginia, Washington D.C., Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Georgia, Connecticut, Colorado, and California. The firm, its attorneys, and practices are continually nominated for awards and recognitions such as Best Lawyers in America, Best Law Firms, and BTI.
