George Zimmerman was in Cocoa, Florida searching for a shotgun. He went to Kel-Tec, a gun manufacturing company to inquire about a tactical shotgun. According to TMZ, Zimmerman was asking questions about the shotgun, and the legal implications regarding owning the Kel-Tec KSG. This firearm holds 12 rounds of 12 gauge shells.
The owner’s son took George Zimmerman took a tour of the grounds where Zimmerman saw the assembly of the firearms. George even took a photograph with an employee. It is not currently known whether or not George Zimmerman purchased a weapon while he was at the Kel-Tec manufacture.
George Zimmerman can expect that his every move will be watched and followed by the media, as he either saves a family, speeds and gets a ticket, or looks for another firearm to possible add to his home’s collection. After his acquittal in his involvement with the death of Trayvon Martin, his every step is shadowed by his enemies, by the media, or by his supporters or other Americans still lingering in the aftermath of the shock over the trial which was part witch hunt, part search for justice.
TMZ initially reported that Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara was with him at the Kel-Tec gun manufacturer, but it was later clarified that in fact attorney O’Mara was at court all of that day.
