Via a press release from the firm, McKool Smith 
has announced that it is opening an office in the Silicon Valley and is adding intellectual property trial lawyer Courtland Reichman to the mix as well.

McKool is the co-founder and Chairman of McKool Smith. “We represent many leading innovators and technology companies in high-stakes patent disputes. Silicon Valley continues to be the hub of technological innovation. This expansion will better position the firm to meet our clients’ needs in the region.”
The brand new office in Silicon Valley is the eighth office for the firm and its second in the state of California. Reichman represents clients in patent and Lanham Act litigation, commercial issues and intellectual property issues.
