Lobbyist Faces 46 to 57 Months in Prison

Kevin Ring who was prosecuted in Abramoff lobbying scandal in Washington federal district court was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 46 to 57 months. Ring was convicted of playing an active role in the crime as a client manager at Greenberg Traurig in October 2010. He is also convicted of paying an illegal gratuity and in offering tickets for a basketball game to a former justice department lawyer Robert Coughlin for helping him in contacting immigration officials to expedite a visa application.
