Foley & Lardner is starting a new venture capital fund called Foley Ventures. The firm will use “professional venture capitalists to make the investment decisions”. Attorneys at the law firm will make the investments as a demonstration to clients that they are willing to go the extra mile pursuing business opportunities. Two Boston partners will oversee the fund, according to Am Law Daily.
