BakerHostetler announced on Monday that Intellectual Property Partner Farah Bhatti has joined the Costa Mesa, CA, office of the law firm as a resident partner in the Trademark team of the law firm’s Intellectual Property group. Bhatti previously worked in Buchalter Nemer.

Bhatti was previously a trademark examining attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where she examined more than 2,000 trademark applications and represented the USPTO before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She has fluent language skills in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu and is a frequent presenter on the topic of trademark protection, especially at events geared toward the fashion industry.

“Farah is a great addition to the Intellectual Property Group,” said John Weber, national chair of BakerHostetler’s Intellectual Property Group. “Her global portfolio management skills will be a great asset to our clients in the U.S. and abroad.”
