US Law firm Hunton & Williams has slashed the headcount of its lawyers by more than 60 percent. In April there were 36 lawyers in City offices and now there are only 14. According to its managing partner, this is a consequence of some corporate partners leaving the firm. In May a strategic refocusing was taking place in its City Offices after five partners left for rival US legal firms.
