The jury handed down the indictment for 10 counts of larceny of more than $205 by a single scheme, two counts of uttering a forged document and a single count of conspiring to commit larceny, according to Telegram.com. Annenberg was already disbarred at the time of the indictment.

Annenberg was disbarred in 2015 when he admitted to misusing client funds. He was charged with stealing from his former employer, Worchester law firm Abigail Williams & Associates. The funds in question were $50,000 in client funds that were misused and checks he cashed in 2012 and 2013 for $6,622 for referral fees that were not for him.

Also indicted was suspended lawyer Michael Levin, 66. Levin had his license suspended in 2017 for two years for admitting to letting Annenberg deposit roughly $153,000 in his Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts and then taking a fee after each deposit. His indictment includes two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of conspiring with Annenberg to commit larceny.
