As global development partner at K&L Gates, Janice Hartman has overseen the rapid expansion of a firm that was once considered to be strictly “East Coast.” Under her watch, K&L Gates has grown to more than 1,800 attorneys. The firm added three new offices in 2009 while topping the $1 billion mark in revenue for the first time and last month, K&L continued its international expansion with the announcement of new offices in Tokyo and Moscow.
In an interview published Sunday in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Hartman explains the firm’s recent growth and what could be coming next for the Pittsburgh-based firm.
