Michigan Man Drinks His Way to 14 DUI’s

Summary: A Michigan man already has 13 drunk driving convictions and just added one more arrest for drunk driving to his record.

How many second chances can one man get? A Michigan man has gotten quite a few. Zenon Bialokur, 54, already has 13 convictions for drunk driving and just added another drunk driving arrest to his record.

A sheriff’s deputy pulled Bialokur over after he ran a red traffic signal. The police report states, “Upon talking to the driver, the deputy determined that he was intoxicated.” The deputy cited him for operating while intoxicated third offense, a charge that is nothing new to Bialokur as well as operating while license suspended, revoked, or denied, and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

His previous 13 drunk driving convictions date back all the way back to 1998. He also has ten convictions for driving with a suspended license and 12 “current suspensions of his driving privilege.”

This time he was charged with a felony drunk driving, driving without a license, and possessing “open intoxicants” in a vehicle. The judge set his bond at a whopping $50,000.

He is now locked up in Macomb County jail. His 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix was impounded by police.

Either the court has not taken enough precautions or they need to take more, either way Bialokur has not learned or gotten the help he needs. Do you think he should remain in jail? Tell us in the comments below.
