Bridal Store Owner Hangs Out in Store Window Naked

Summary: After a Pittsburgh area bridal store closed for the day, the co-owner started drinking and stripped down to his “birthday suit” to hang out in the store window front for a bit.

When customers walk past a wedding dress store, they expect to see beautiful white dresses, not a naked man standing in the window. One woman reported to police that she a man “fully naked, no shoes, shirt, pants or anything” standing in the window of One Enchanted Evening.

The Pittsburgh-area store proclaims to be the “premier bridal, prom and pageant boutique of Western Pennsylvania.” The owners are listed as husband and wife team Peter and Linda Scolieri.

The boutique was closed at the time of the incident but witness could see the man, Peter Scolieri, mingling with the mannequins at the front of the store. The woman snapped a photo of Peter with her cell phone. He reportedly had “an erection” and was holding a “hand part” of the mannequin but it was unclear what he was doing with the hand of the mannequin.

The responding officer verified that “it was in fact a male actor and not a mannequin” in the photo. They knocked on the door of the bridal store but no one would answer the door. The officers contacted Linda who then contacted her husband. When he finally opened the door to the officers, Peter smelled of alcohol. The officer reported that Peter “had an attitude and acted as if we were an inconvenience to him.”

He was arrested for indecent exposure, lewdness, and disorderly conduct for continually “bashing his head on the window and had to be told to stop multiple times” when placed in the backseat of the cop car.

The bridal boutique posted on their website that Peter was a minority owner that has “voluntarily taken an indefinite leave of absence from the store in order to deal with this incident and other personal issues.” Their statement continued by explaining that the “incident took place after store hours, and there were no customers or employees in the premises at the time.”
