Thursday Thoughts

1. Sooooo I spilled water all over my laptop and I’m not sure it’s going to survive this time. Blogging from my phone for now, so it might be a bit messy.

2. I am so excited for this weekend because I’m going HOME!!! My friend Bailey is getting married and I’m really looking forward to the wedding!

3. This past weekend I did my first Color Run 5K with Chelsey! It was fun, however the misty/foggy weather made the color a little more messy. And FYI: do not open your mouth or breath at all basically when they throw colored powder in your face…

4. I finally finished the most recent season of Pretty Little Liars and recently found out I have at least three more to go (they just got signed for another two seasons after the current one). As much as I enjoy the show, part of me just wants to know who A is and have it all end!

5. We have our company picnic today and it’s 60 degrees and cloudy… Perhaps I should not have worn a skirt and sandals.

6. I got to spend a lot of time with some girls in my small group this weekend and I had a blast getting to know them better. And despite our different experiences and views on things (yes, we are all Christians and have different views), I love how open we all are with one another.

7. Yesterday I took a long walk during lunch and got to see a bunch of the bridges go up so a few sail boats could go through. I’m sure anyone driving hates it, but even after four years here I think it looks so cool!

8. Have a great Thursday!

Have you been to any weddings this summer?

Anyone else watch Pretty Little Liars?

Tell me a thought you’re having right now!

I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
