Things I’m Loving Lately

Hey everyone! Sorry for my random absence yesterday. I spent all Saturday babysitting and then Sunday I just wasn’t feeling inspired to write anything. However, I did make this awesome Lego car, so the weekend wasn’t a total bust…

I’ve seen a few other bloggers do these “things I’m loving” type posts, so I thought it would be fun to share with you all a few things that I am loving right now!

Blogs that I’ve been really enjoying:

The Real Life RD

Your Trainer Paige

Lexalicious Daily

DoTerra Peppermint:

I know I mentioned this stuff in my DoTerra post last week, but I use this almost every day. Whenever my stomach is bothering me, I just put a drop of it in a small cup of cold water, mix it up and drink! 20 minutes later I’m feeling sooooo much better.

Coconut Oil

source

I’ve only heard good things about coconut oil’s benefits, especially for your health and metabolism. I put some on top of my oats along with almond butter in the morning and it is SO GOOD.

Starbucks Iced Coffee

source

It’s not actually quite warm enough for iced coffee here in Chicago (other than a couple beautiful days last weekend) but I can’t resist. It’s by far my favorite beverage and it is already making a strong comeback. Now if only my hands didn’t get so cold carrying it to the office…

Old Navy Rockstar Jeans

source

I bought these jeans last week and I’ve already worn them several times, including 10 hours of babysitting on Saturday. They are SO COMFORTABLE. I’m actually shocked by this because Old Navy jeans have never fit my body type correctly, but I tried these on and absolutely love them!

What have you been loving lately?

Where did you get your favorite pants/jeans from?

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
