Only 68% of 2010 Law Graduates are in Jobs that Require Passing the Bar

According to a press release by NALP executive director James Leipold, the law graduates in the class of 2010 have set a record low of only 68% having jobs requiring bar passage, which is the lowest percentage since NALP started collecting statistics. He said that the overall employment rate was 87.6% for the class of 2010 which is the lowest since 1996. He also told reporters that there was hardly any chance of improvements in job profiles of 2011 grads due to recession.
