Gardere Wynne Adds Four to Austin Office

Four attorneys previously with Clarke, Thomas & Winters have joined the Austin office of Gardere Wynne Sewell. They are Mark T. Mitchell, Mark Mayfield, Fred Sultan and Leslie Robnett. The quartet joins Ed Burbach, formerly Texas deputy attorney general, in the Austin office.

Mitchell brings 30 years of litigation experience to Gardere Wynne. He has previously been named a Texas ‘Super Lawyer’ by Law and Politics magazine. Mayfield has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He began his law career at Clark Thomas in 1990.

Sultan was a shareholder at Clark Thomas and focuses on commercial litigation matters, including business torts, breach of contract and warranty, trade secrets, etc. Robnett joins as an associate after previously being an associate at Clark Thomas.

Gardere Wynne Sewell is one of the largest law firms in the Southwest and has offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston and Mexico City.
