Summary: Insiders told Page Six that Randy Jackson is controlling his younger sister, Janet Jackson.

Janet Jackson’s friends are allegedly worried that her brother Randy Jackson is controlling her to her detriment. Last week, the singer called the police twice on her estranged husband, and authorities said that during each call they found no evidence of wrongdoing. Sources told Page Six they believe Janet was acting on bad advice from her brother.

Insiders told Page Six that Janet Jackson’s estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, is no threat and that the singer, 52, is harassing her ex as part of a scheme orchestrated by her older brother, Randy Jackson, 56.

At least twice last week, Janet called Malibu police to say she was concerned Al Mana was putting their son, Eissa, in danger and that Al Mana was possibly using drugs in front of the baby. Sources said that Al Mana is a devout Muslim and does not do any type of drugs.

“Randy is behind all of this — he thinks he’s helping [Janet] to win legal and primary custody when he’s really hurting her,” a family source told Page Six.

A family source told Page Six that Randy’s ploy to badmouth Al Mana is only making Janet look bad.

Janet and Al Mana, 43, are in the midst of a contentious divorce that began over a year ago, and they are fighting over custody of their son, who is a year old. A family expert said that Randy gives Janet bad advice to try to help her win her legal case against Al Mana.

“Randy doesn’t understand a lot, but wants you to believe he’s an expert,” said a family employee. “He’s fed Janet bad information. He’s made her believe that a disagreement is an argument, an argument is a fight, and criticism from Wissam is a curse word.”

The family source said that Randy told Janet that if she allowed her son to be with his father then he would flee with him to the Middle East.

“This idea that if Wissam were to take Eissa, even for a couple of days, he’d flee to the Middle East . . . is all Randy. As smart as we believe Janet has always been with her affairs, she’s not being too smart by allowing Randy to take over her life and her marriage,” the family source said.

Janet Jackson is a popular singer, famous for songs such as Nasty and Runaway. Her estranged husband Al Mana is a billionaire from Qatar. The two separated in January of 2017.

Janet and Randy have accused Al Mana of verbal abuse, and Randy implied that the devout Muslim had tried to control Janet with his religion. However, a family source said it is Randy who is trying to take control.

“Randy moved to London [where she lived with Al Mana], virtually next door to Janet. It’s so that he could manage her life,” the family source said. “This is the tactic he took when Michael was on trial.”

Randy’s attorney Brian Oxman said that the way his client manages his sister has been mischaracterized.
