Private Jet Company Sues Kim Kardashian for Unpaid Six-Figure Bill

Summary: An airline company is suing Kim Kardashian for a large unpaid bill.

Do the Kardashians keep up with their bills? One private jet company says the answer is “no” and is suing the famous sisters so that they’ll fly away from their six-figure debt.

Silver Air, LLC, filed a lawsuit against Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and boyfriend-in-law Scott Disick, according to TMZ. The private jet company said that the three as well as their associates have an unpaid balance of $225,353.80, and the plaintiff wants its money.

The company is suing the Kardashians, Disick, and other media moguls who used Silver Air’s jets, and TMZ stated that Silver Air was a vendor to a company called JetLux who may be the root of this mess because it took money from clients but failed to pay vendors.

“Sources connected to the Kardashians tell us, Kim, Khloe and Scott used a company called JetLux — who is also a defendant in the lawsuit — to charter planes. They would pay them a large lump sum for hours credited and the company then contacts third party jet companies to supply the aircraft and pay those companies from their money. Our sources say JetLux apparently booked some flights but never paid their vendors, and that’s the root cause of the lawsuit,” TMZ explained.

The Kardashian family has been frequent targets of lawsuits because of their enormous wealth. According to Time Magazine, Selfie Queen Kim alone has a net worth of $175 million, and her fame has helped the members of her family amass their own fortunes. Her sister Khloe has a net worth of $40 million, according to Cheat Sheet, and their half-sister Kylie Jenner has amassed even more than her older sisters.

Kim, 37, currently is being sued by her brother Rob Kardashian’s ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna for defamation, but Kim recently won a victory in their legal battle. Chyna, who is represented by attorney Lisa Bloom, accused the Kardashian family of ruining her career by using their influence at the E! Network to get her reality show Rob & Chyna cancelled. This month, a judge ruled that the television producers were allowed to cancel shows whenever they wanted to and that Kim Kardashian was not liable for the show’s end.

Meanwhile, Kim’s sister Khloe, 33, celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday as a mom for the first time. This year, she gave birth to a child with basketball player Tristan Thompson, and the new family currently resides in Cleveland. However, sources say that Khloe spent the holiday without Thompson, who has been accused multiple times of cheating.

Disick, 34, is the father of Kourtney Kardashian’s children, but the pair are no longer together. He is currently dating Sofia Ritchie, 19.
