Will Blac Chyna’s Lawsuit against Kardashian Family End Soon?

Summary: A judge ruled that Blac Chyna cannot blame the Kardashian family for the cancellation of her show, Rob & Chyna.

Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against the Kardashian klan may come to an end, Cinemablend reported. The reality star sued the famous family, blaming them for the demise of her reality show Rob & Chyna, but a judge ruled this week that they were not liable. This is a blow for the former stripper, who has been having a rough year since her wagon was unhitched from the superstar family.

Chyna was a former friend of Kim Kardashian, and she is the mother of rapper Tyga’s son. However, her relationship soured with the Kardashian sisters when Tyga dumped Chyna and started to date Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian’s half-sister.

While that drama was plenty, Chyna upped the ante, and she found her way back in the Kardashian klan when she started to date brother Rob Kardashian, who has removed himself from his famous family after he gained weight. The pairing of Rob and Chyna was so odd and interesting that the pair got their own reality show on the E! Network, Rob & Chyna, and the program was supposed to document their relationship. However, after one season, the two separated, and E! Network pulled the plug on season two.

Without a love union, it seemed obvious that Rob & Chyna would not work, but Chyna believed that their breakup was just as interesting as their relationship and she blamed the Kardashian family for canceling her show. In her lawsuit, she said that the Kardashian family used their influence to get her show canned, and she sued them for loss of income.

The Kardashian family, not one to back down, fought back against Chyna, and the court sided with them, stating that they were not at fault for Chyna’s troubles.

“Blac Chyna believes the world-famous family might’ve pushed for the short-lived reality TV series to get canceled prematurely, and that they used their influence over the network to make it happen soon,” Cinemablend said. “As the court sees it, however, it’s entirely in E!’s right to cancel whatever shows they wish to end under their banner. It was also determined that if Blac Chyna signed a contract with E! and agreed to their terms and conditions, they’re allowed to kill the series, whether Blac Chyna likes it or not — and, of course, whether or not the Kardashians did or did not influence the celebrity-filled television station in their decision to call it quits on Rob & Chyna.”

According to Cinemablend, this is “another misfortune to add to Blac Chyna’s ongoing woes.” Earlier this year, a sex tape of hers was released, and she was dropped by one of her sponsor’s, a stroller company, because of her tarnished image. TMZ also reported that Chyna’s club appearance fee has dropped significantly since her breakup from the Kardashian brand.

This new development about the show does not mean Chyna’s legal battle with her ex’s family is over just yet, though. Cinemablend said that she still has a pending lawsuit for defamation and she could amend her previous lawsuit.

Blac Chyna is represented by attorney Lisa Bloom.
