Lawyer Gets Aroused by Physical Fight between Ex-Girlfriend and Current Girlfriend

Summary: A Florida lawyer let his girlfriend get beat up in front of him, masturbated on her, and then tried to prevent her from reporting the attack to police.

A violent physical confrontation between his girlfriend and ex-girlfriend put one Florida lawyer into a fit of arousal. Naples attorney Jon Douglas Parrish is facing criminal charges for pleasuring himself on his girlfriend after she was assaulted in front of him and then preventing her from reporting it.

The full list of charges against the 53-year-old managing partner at Parrish, White & Yarnell include false imprisonment, domestic violence battery, and tampering with a witness, victim, or informant. He was released after posting a $12,500 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for February 6.

The woman is not being identified since she is a victim of domestic violence. She was attacked by Natalie V. Peysina, Parrish’s ex-girlfriend and business partner. She was sending the woman “hateful, harassing and sometimes threatening” text messages. Some of the hateful messages from Peysina included calling her a “prostitute,” “cockroach,” “BDSM mistress,” and “freak.”

On November 20, Parrish and his girlfriend were lying in bed when Peysina barged into the room. The affidavit states, “The victim said Peysina was able to maneuver the victim to where she was mostly face down during the attack, with Peysina sitting on her legs to restrain them, then holding the victim’s hands behind her back while she was being punched and kneed about the head, face and body.”

The woman was screaming for help but Parrish just stood in the doorway and watched. She stated to police that “Peysina choked her out and she lost consciousness more than once, while Peysina told the [her] in Russian that she was going to kill [her].” Peysina is Russian, while the victim is Ukranian but understands Russian.

The attack lasted about an hour. When she regained consciousness, she asked Parrish why he did nothing to help her. He just said the attack wasn’t that bad and she “had a few bruises.” The woman complained of head pain and asked to go to the hospital but he refused to take her.

The woman then requested to report the incident but Parrish told her “it will get worse for you.” She left the bed, but Parrish urged her to come back. He “held her close in comfort” in what she thought was an act to comfort her since “she was shivering and scared from what just happened.” In reality, Parrish was sexually excited and wanted to have sex. She said no, so he masturbated next to her and finished on her.

The next day, Parrish kept the woman close to him, monitoring her with a surveillance system installed throughout the home. She was able to send the Collier County Sheriff’s Department copies of the text messages and photos from Peysina. “The photos clearly depict the bruising and abrasions on her face and neck, and there is clearly redness and bruising on her neck consistent with her account of the attack and being choked,” the affidavit said.

Eventually she was able to slip away from Parrish by stating she needed a cup of Starbucks coffee. She went straight to the sheriff’s office. Deputies arrived at Peysina’s house two days later. She was on the couch watching TV with Parrish. When they started to arrest her, Parrish attempted to pull her back into the house, claiming to be her attorney. She is facing charges of robbery and grand theft, but not assault.

The woman has since been in contact with Parrish, only to meet in public places since they have business interests together. She asked him why Peysina was in their home that night. He claims they have an agreement that if he doesn’t respond when he and the woman argue that she would show up to “protect and defend him.”

In 2010, Parrish was facing aggravated child abuse and false imprisonment charges for zip-tying his 15-year-old daughter’s hands and feet because he was mad at her behavior. The Department of Children and Families investigated and concluded that his actions were child abuse.
