Uber Driver Gets Creeper Award

Summary: Uber driver drops off passengers and then proceeds to stalk their apartment, trying to break in during the early morning hours.

A St. Petersburg, Florida Uber driver was found creeping around an apartment complex in the early hours of Sunday morning. Christopher Cuccorillo, 40, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of loitering and prowling. The apartment Cuccorillo was creeping outside of happened to be those of two female passengers he had dropped off at 4 AM Sunday.

A witness called police after spotting him “in the back of the condo building tampering with the rear window of their apartment.” They reported that Cuccorillo was “walking back and forth” behind the condo. The area was not in public view of open to the public, which had a six-foot fence securing it from the public.

When the police arrived and confronted him, he claimed to be “checking on the females per their request due to their intoxication.” The women contradicted his claim and made no such request from the driver.

Cuccorillo’s story continued to change “several times” during questioning, leading the police to finally arrest him. He was taken to Pinellas County jail and released a few hours later on $250 bond.
