It is still unclear how a celebrity so generally disliked is looked at as a leader. For someone that proclaims tolerance, Miley Cyrus has a few lessons to learn about what the actually means because she can be trusted as a leader of the movement.
Elle UK magazine has decided to place Cyrus on the cover of the edition celebrating their 30th anniversary. The topic Cyrus discusses in her feature includes ending gender, free sexuality, and the growing trans emergence.
Cyrus certainly does know how to do one thing right and that is creating a commotion. Her actions, fashion, dialogue and overall existence is never far from being provocative. Cyrus has goals to make the world a more tolerant place but she does not seem to understand what that means.
In a recent article for Paper magazine, Cyrus praises herself for being the most tolerance person she knows and then immediately turning around and completely bashes those with Christian values, including her parents. Cyrus demands that everyone let her be who she wants, which is perfectly fine, but is not willing to extend the same courtesy to others.
Cyrus has started a charity, The Happy Hippie Foundation, to use her popularity for something good. She considers herself a gender activist and politically engaged woman but it has yet to be seen how she has done anything of political value yet.
