Greenberg Traurig Gains New Shareholder to New York Office

Summary: Terri A. Mazur is joining the New York Litigation Practice at Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder.

International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has taken Terri A. Mazur from Kaye Scholer LLP. She is an experienced trial lawyer that will add to the growing litigation team at the firm. Chair of the New York Litigation Practice, Richard A. Edlin, noted that “her distinguished career representing financial institutions complements the strong recent additions to the firm, including the Pete Michaels group in Boston and the Jeffry Henderson group in Chicago. We are continuing to build a strong financial services litigation team to best serve our clients.”

Mazur will focus her work on federal securities litigation, especially in the financial services sector. She will also work with antitrust and complex commercial matters. She advises corporate clients, accounting firms, financial institutions, and officers and directors of complex individual, multidistrict, and class actions that deal with lending, professional liability, leasing, and fraud. Some of her previous work includes working with national and multinational companies in chemical, airline, oil, and other sectors in antitrust matters such as monopoly, price fixing, cartel, conspiracy claims, and market allocation.

Mazur received her B.A. from Cornell University and her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
