Marketing Graduate Advertises His CV in Waterloo Station

Summary: A 22-year-old marketing graduate named Alfred Ajani took the platforms of Waterloo Station in London to advertise his CV when he was not receiving job interviews.

Alfred Ajani is a marketing graduate. Ajani dressed in a fine suit and stood in London’s Waterloo station while holding a sign that advertised his CV, according to UNILAD Magazine.

He did not have to stand in the station too long before he found success.

Multiple managers from various companies were moving through the station when Ajani was standing there holding the ad about his CV. This helped him receive numerous offers for job interviews, with one that was scheduled immediately.

Ajani, 22, applied for some 300 jobs since graduating with a degree in marketing. This is why he decided to take matters into his own hands and advertise himself at the station.

He said, “I got up early and went to the station. At first people just looked at me but after about ten minutes people starting stopping and talking. They said they’d never seen anything like it before and were really impressed.”

“One woman worked in advertising and took a CV and another guy ran back from his train and said he’d walked past but had started thinking and might have something for me, he continued.”

‘I’ve already had some phone calls and have got an interview booked for later today. The support was great, one man even bought me a cup of tea and told me ‘good luck.’”
