Christian Preacher Drowned Out by Christian Students Singing About Love

Summary: A Christian preacher was talking to students about homosexuality and sins when a group of Christian students decided to drown him out with a song about love.

It is understandable that everyone in this world holds different views about hot topics such as politics, sex, money and religion. But, do we need to be subjected to everyone else’s beliefs and thoughts on these issues on a constant basis? A group of Christian students decided that they had heard enough from a Christian preacher on campus one day.

The preacher was spewing his thoughts on homosexuality and how everyone will go to hell for their sins on a college campus when a group of students broke out into a song about love in an effort to drown out his comments.

The song the students sang, repeating the verse over and over again, is as follows:

“We are His portion and He is our prize. Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes. If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking. So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss. And my heart turns violently inside of my chest I don’t have time to maintain these regrets. When I think about The way that He loves us Oh, how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves. Yeah He loves us. Oh how He loves us. Oh how He loves us. Oh how He loves.”
