Former Federal Immigration Attorney Wayne Price Joins Cohen & Padda LLP

Summary: Wayne H. Price, former immigration official and federal government attorney, joins Las Vegas-based personal injury law firm of Cohen & Padda. Both the name founders of the law firm are also former federal prosecutors.

Las Vegas based personal injury law firm Cohen & Padda announced last week in a news release that Wayne H. Price, former federal government attorney and immigration law expert has joined the law firm. Price has worked in government service for close to two decades both in the US Department of Justice and the US Department of Homeland Security.

He also has a distinguished military career and had served as a member of the “Downing Commission” convened by President Bill Clinton. As a supervising attorney in the military, Price taught at the elite military academy West Point and was involved with more than 350 criminal trials.

According to Managing Partner Paul S. Padda, “Wayne trained some of the best lawyers in America when he was a supervising attorney with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, including highly respected Clark County District Court Judge Rob Bare to whom he served as both mentor and supervisor when they were in the military.”

Price has been brought in to build the law firm’s immigration practice. Ruth Cohen said, “When I was a federal prosecutor, I know the United States Attorney’s Office routinely called upon Wayne for his immigration expertise and knowledge.” In addition to immigration cases, Price also will handle criminal defense matters for the law firm.

Padda added, “Wayne has tremendous experience as a former government immigration attorney and commands the respect of both immigration judges and other high-ranking government officials.”
