VIDEO: 5-Year-Old Charms 911 Dispatcher as She Helps Her Dad through a Heart Attack

If you raise a child right they can have a great presence of mind, even during emergencies. The daughter in this video places a 911 call for her father, who is having what sounds like a heart attack, and while she tells the operator that he needs oxygen, and explains that this hasn’t happened before, she tells her dad not to worry, says a few times “so far so good,” and says, “stay calm dad.”

She even has the presence of mind to want to change out of her pajamas for the arrival of the ambulance, but the dispatcher advises her to stay by her father so that he doesn’t “fall asleep.” She complies, aware of the severity of the problem, but not undone by it, despite being merely 5-years-old.

The daughter is absolutely adorable, and it is difficult for a parent to watch this video without choking up a bit.

She tells the dispatcher they have a dog, a small friendly dog who barks; and she is otherwise bright and alert, and above all kind and attentive to her father, who can barely be heard off the phone, answering her questions, as he endures severe chest pains. Savannah, the young girl, has the makings of a bright and strong woman someday.
