Seyfarth Shaw Announces Addition of Six New Attorneys

Seyfarth Shaw announced on Monday via a press release that six new attorneys have been added to the firm’s Real Estate department in New York. Partner Adrian Zuckerman, partners Linda Bielik, Cynthia Mitchell and counsel Ralph Berman have joined from LeClair Ryan while partner Mitchel Hill joins the firm from Troutman Sanders and partner Juan Reyes joins the firm from Reed Smith.

“This is a top-flight group of veteran real estate attorneys who are an excellent fit for us as we continue to strategically expand our Real Estate department across the country,” said Paul Mattingly, chair of Seyfarth’s Real Estate department. “We had a record-setting year in 2012 and this group further illustrates our commitment to growing what is one of the top real estate practices in the country.”

The co-managing partner in the New York office of Seyfarth, John Napoli, said, “This is an impressive group who are well recognized for their respective practices in New York, as well as nationally, and we’re excited to welcome them to our New York office.”

Zuckerman earned his S.B. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his J.D. from New York Law School.

Hill earned his B.S. and J.D. from the University of North Carolina.

Reyes earned his B.A. from Emory University and J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Bielik earned her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.

Mitchell earned her B.A. from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her J.D. from New York Law School.

Berman earned his B.S. from Cornell University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Jim Vassallo: Jim is a freelance writer based out of the suburbs of Philadelphia in New Jersey. Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and minor in Journalism from Rowan University in 2008. While in school he was the Assistant Sports Director at WGLS for two years and the Sports Director for one year. He also covered the football, baseball, softball and both basketball teams for the school newspaper 'The Whit.' Jim lives in New Jersey with his wife Nicole, son Tony and dog Phoebe.
