Mila Kunis Named “Sexiest Woman Alive” by Esquire Magazine

In its November issue released this week, Esquire magazine has named Mila Kunis “the sexiest woman alive.” The men’s magazine opined on its website that the actress, one-time star of the TV comedy “That ‘70s Show,” was “the most beautiful, opinionated, talkative, and funny movie star that we’ve all known since she was nine.”

The Esquire recognition for Mila Kunis was hardly unexpected as in 2011, GQ had already named her the Knockout of the Year and Men’s Health named her one of the “100 Hottest Women of All-time.” Earlier this year, Kunis got hotter with FHM magazine placing her at the 9th spot on its 2012 Hot 100. She’s been on Maxim’s Hot 100 list for ages reaching the 5th spot in both 2009 and 2011, and the 3rd spot this year.

With this announcement, Mila Kunis joins an august company of former Esquire choices including celebrities like Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, and Rihanna. Other runners-up for the coveted title this year included celebrities like Anne Hathaway, Jessica Castain, Katie Holmes, and “Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe.

The native of Ukraine, who has a loyal base of fans and collected ardent admirers for her performances in popular movies like “Black Swan” and “Ted,” is scheduled to star in “Oz: The Great and Powerful.” Mila Kunis is also the voice of Meg Griffin in “Family Guy” the Fox animation comedy.

Mila Kunis moved to Los Angeles from Ukraine at the age of seven, with her family. She enrolled in acting classes after-school and appeared in several hit television serials. She made it big with her role as Rachel Jansen in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, followed by a string of successful scene roles until the world acclaimed her performance in Black Swan. Her performance in Black Swan won her the Best Young Actor or Actress at the 67th Venice International Film Festival.

Earlier this year, Christian Dior signed her on as its brand ambassador for fashion handbags.
