She worked as a co-head of Jones Day’s Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement Practice, lead the securities litigation lawyer to defend the Potash Corporation against the BHP Billiton’s $40-billion takeover, lead lawyer for Dell and EDS in securities and derivative litigation and pioneered the expansion of the Practice in Dallas and Houston. Villareal was also recognized as one of only two Securities Litigation Powerhouses in September 2008.
