2. Otterbourg

New York-based Otterbourg serves leading financial institutions and commercial businesses, and they are one of the nation’s leading insolvency law firms. One of their major clients is Bank of America, and in 2010, they helped get a $800 million bankruptcy lawsuit against BOA dismissed.

Togut Segal & Segal focuses only on corporate bankruptcy law. Created in 1980, the 15 attorney boutique represents debtors, creditors, and trustees. They have served as court-appointed counsel in hundreds of cases. Some of their clients include Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, Loehmann’s, and Relativity Media.

Halperin Battaglia Benzija is a New York boutique that focuses solely on bankruptcy. With a dedicated team of 11 attorneys, the firm works with clients on out-of-court restructurings, chapter 11 reorganization and liquidation cases, debtor-creditor litigation and transactional advice.
