Morris Polich & Purdy LLP said Monday that Elizabeth England, a partner of the firm, has been named chair of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of California.
England served the previous three years as secretary, treasurer, and vice-chair of the Section. She was elected by its fifteen-member Executive Committee.
The State Bar of California Litigation Section has approximately 10,000 members, and is comprised of numerous Standing Committees such as Alternative Dispute Resolution, California Legislation Review, Education, Jury Instructions, and Rules and Legislation.
The Section Chair is responsible for planning the Section’s budget and conducting Executive Committee meetings.
