Atlanta-based labor and employment firm Fisher & Phillips has announced the opening of an office in Washington, D.C., says PR Newswire. The office opened effective July 1, and is headed by former Arent Fox attorney, Dennis C. Cuneo. Prior to his stint at Arent, Mr. Cuneo headed legal, government affairs, public and industry relations, as well as a slew of administrative and human resource duties at Toyota Motor North America.
His extensive background in government relations will play a critical role in Fisher’s new office. The firm has plans to build a government affairs group that will be centered in Washington.
Fisher & Phillips was founded in 1943 and has more than 225 attorneys in 23 offices. The firm represents management in the areas of labor, employment, civil rights, employee benefits and immigration law.
