Partner Frank J. Albetta Transfers to Raleigh Office of CSH

Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP will be announcing today that partner Frank J. Albetta is relocating from the firm’s Wilmington office to supervise its Raleigh employment practice. The move is part of a reorganizational effort to widen the firms scope to a state-wide reach.

“Frank is one of the most experienced and successful lawyers we have in our firm,” says Dan Hartzog, managing partner of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP. “To have him in Raleigh will enhance our employment, municipal defense and education law practice areas immensely.”

A press release from the firm further stated: “Albetta’s litigation experience includes participation in a number of significant cases during his 30-year career, including the successful defense of the employer in EEOC v. Sears, Roebuck and Co., the EEOC’s largest sex discrimination case to date; a favorable settlement for the University of North Carolina against federal charges that it maintained a discriminatory dual system of higher education; and successful defenses of Los Alamos National Laboratory against a variety of civil rights and employment claims.”
