Summary: Mel B filed damning new court papers against her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte.

Does Stephen Belafonte have an obsession with watching ISIS videos? In shocking new court documents filed in Los Angeles, former Spice Girl Melanie Brown (Mel B) claims that her ex-husband watched terrorist beheading videos and showed them to her kids.

“When I was not present, Stephen thought it was funny or educational (I still do not know) to play videos of ISIS beheading individuals,” Brown stated in court documents obtained by The Blast.

Mel B and Belafonte settled their bitter divorce in November of 2017, and leading up to the finalization, Mel B accused her music producer then-husband of shagging the nanny and paying for her abortion. She also accused him of abuse, which he denied.

Recently, Mel B filed new court documents to stop Belafonte from any contact with her three children, especially her middle child Angel, whose father is Eddie Murphy.

According to People, Mel B claims her ex-husband showed her children, Phoenix, Angel, and Madison, ISIS beheading videos, and Mel B said that these videos scared Angel, who Belafonte wants to continue seeing.

Mel B said that the videos are “inappropriate for such young girls” and she wants the courts to block Belafonte from being able to visit her children.

Phoenix confirmed to People that Belafonte had shown her the ISIS videos, and she said he had shown them to her during her 16th birthday.

“He got us all to watch men being beheaded with chainsaws by ISIS, as we were in the kitchen and he was cooking,” Phoenix said.

Phoenix added that she did not bond with Belafonte and that he was mean to her and her sisters.

“I never bonded with Stephen because he would call me names such as: ‘retarded’ and ‘stupid.’ He would do things which upset me,” Phoenix said. “He would be very aggressive with Angel and Maddie if they broke the ‘rules,’ like talking when he was on the phone. He would just yell really up close to them.”

In the court papers, Mel B said that Belafonte had tried to get to Angel through Madison by giving Madison a teddy bear with a phone number so that the girl would give her sister the information to contact him. Madison is the only daughter of Mel B and Belafonte.

Brown said that Angel had to be enrolled in therapy because of the ISIS videos, and Brown said that she will do anything she can to keep her second child away from her ex-husband.

“This was entirely inappropriate for such young girls, who do not understand what is happening in the videos. Angel has repeatedly told me about these videos and that she was scared and frightened that Stephen would expose her to such gruesome images,” Mel B said.

A hearing on this case is expected for the end of the month.
