Summary: A couple aboard a Delta flight to Detroit were caught in an inappropriate position while still in their seats.
We’ve all heard of the “Mile High Club” but two people took this membership to a whole new level during a flight from Los Angeles to Detroit. A man and woman who were on the flight Sunday night have been issued citations after engaging in some hanky-panky in their seats.
The 28-year-old man and 48-year-old woman were apparently strangers before boarding the flight. The woman was caught giving the man oral sex while still in their seats instead of least moving to the privacy of the bathrooms.
The man was catching a connecting flight to Miami from Detroit while the woman was going on to Nashville, according to officials. Other travelers on the flight were outraged by their behavior. One said, “The act itself is inappropriate in a public space.” Another told WDIV, “There are children. There are families. There are seniors. These things should be respected.”
The FBI is now investigating the incident and may decide to charge them with a more serious crime rather than just a citation. The FBI said they are considering a misdemeanor or even felony charge which could come out as soon as Tuesday.
Delta Airlines declined to comment on the incident.
Another passenger added, “If people will go so far as to disrespect themselves and disrespect you, something should be done.”
