We’re often very focused on taking care of other people or trying to make everyone else happy, whether it’s your significant other, your friends, or your boss, but how often do you do something special just for you?

Self-care is so vital for our lives because we can’t be there for anyone else if we aren’t filling up our cup first. Once you start taking care of you, you’ll notice how your energy and positive mood filter into other areas of your life. If you have a hard time doing things for yourself, find a friend who will keep you accountable. Tell them what you’re planning to do and ask them to check in with you – or come along!
