Lawsuit: Usher Gave Woman Herpes, Paid Her $1.1 Million

Summary: Radar Online recently uncovered a 2012 lawsuit that said Usher paid off an ex-lover after giving her herpes.

Usher allegedly had a secret. And it’s explosive.

On Wednesday, celebrity gossip website, Radar Online, claimed that they had dug up a 2012 lawsuit that outlines the sordid relationship between the “Let It Burn” singer and a celebrity stylist. In the lawsuit, it claims that Usher gave the woman herpes and paid her $1.1 million to not tell the media about his unhealthy skeleton-in-the-closet.

The lawsuit said that Usher, real name Usher Raymond IV, had a lot of unprotected sex with the stylist in 2009 or 2010, but never disclosed his STI. His ex-lover claimed that he showed no signs of being infected except for once oozing “greenish discharge” out of his celebrity penis.

The stylist said that she voiced her concerns about disease to Usher, who is also Justin Bieber’s mentor, and he lied to her that he had gotten a health test and it came back negative.

“Believing Raymond’s statements that it had been nothing and cleared up, [she] continued her relationship,” the lawsuit stated.

Usher, 38, and the stylist’s affair lasted less than a month, and during the last few weeks, she said that she had noticed lesions on her vagina and had come down with a fever. After visiting urgent care, a doctor informed her that she was infected with herpes. In the lawsuit, she said she felt devastated and ruined health-wise.

The stylist’s lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles, and in the city, it is a crime to not inform potential lovers if you have a communicable disease.

According to New York Daily News, “In the U.S., one out of every six people ages 14 to 49 years have genital herpes, which is spread through vaginal, oral or anal sex. It can be spread to sexual partners, even when people who have it show no symptoms.” Usher was reportedly a herpes carrier who did not have lesions.

In 2007, Usher married Tameka Foster, but they had divorced years later after she accused him of cheating. Prior to his marriage, he was in a high-profile relationship with TLC’s Chili (Razonda Thomas), who he had also cheated on. After the dissolution of their relationship, he wrote the hit album “Confessions,” which included several songs about his adultery.

In 2015, Usher married Grace Miguel. He is currently a judge on NBC’s singing competition The Voice, and he owns the record company Raymond Braun Media Group that has signed Bieber and other hot young artists.
