Tiffany Trump Is Headed to Georgetown Law

Summary: The younger of the first daughters will be headed to Georgetown Law in the fall to begin classes towards a law degree.

President Donald Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany, is headed to Georgetown Law. Tiffany, 23, was accepted to the school’s class of 2020 after she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in sociology and urban studies. She begins classes this fall at Georgetown Law, one of the top programs in the country.

After posting on Instagram last year a photo of LSAT prep books and the phrase, “I got this,” it became apparent that she was looking towards law school. The Daily Mail first reported her plans on which law school to attend. It is reported that a law degree will help her find a place within the Trump organization.

She has led a relatively quiet life since her father became president. She attended a Wounded Warriors event at the White House last month, was present for the Easter Egg Roll, and joined her father and Melania and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife at the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea. She was also reported to be at her brother Barron’s 11th birthday party in New York City. She also spent time in March in Belize with her boyfriend.

Tiffany is the only child of Trump and Marla Maples. She spent most of her time growing up in Calabasas, California with her mother. In an April 2016 interview with People Magazine, she said, “We were always together. She gave me the chance to have a normal childhood.”

Being at Georgetown will allow Tiffany to be closer and spend more time with her father and sister Ivanka. She has been living in New York since she graduated with her undergraduate degree. Maples told The Daily Beast that, “My daughter is back here wanting to get to know her dad and spend more time with him. And I have to really respect that, and I do respect that in every way.” She helped campaign for her father last summer and fall, even speaking on his behalf at the Republican National Convention.

“I always look forward to introducing him to my friends, especially the ones with preconceived notions, because they meet a man with natural charm and no façade,” Tiffany said. “In person, my father is so friendly, so considerate, so funny, and so real. My friends walk away with a glimpse of all that he is and all that he means to me – of the strong, protective, kind, endearing man I am so proud to call my father.”

Other famous graduates of Georgetown Law that Tiffany is likely to join include NBC anchors Greta Van Susteren and Savannah Guthrie, former RNC chairman Michael Steele, House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, former Trump campaign chief strategist Paul Manafort, and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Her brother Eric graduated from Georgetown in 2006 with a degree in finance and management.
